Surgery is the last and extreme stage for treating CTS. Mainly two types of surgeries are involved with this difficulty. Open release surgery and Endoscopic surgery are required according to the seriousness of the disorder. In Open Release Surgery, the wrist is incised almost 2 inches to cut the carpal ligament and to widen the tunnel. A camera is required in the Endoscopic incision where local anesthesia play important role.
